Ethereum Argentina & Filecoin's event in Mendoza focused on blockchain innovation and community building in the Southern Hemisphere.
Ethereum Argentina is quite the highlight in the blockchain world down in the Southern Hemisphere. This time around, they set it up in the scenic Mendoza, Argentina, stretching it over two days. The agenda for the first day was geared towards the folks who geek out over blockchain – the developers and enthusiasts, diving into the nitty-gritty of it all. The next day switched gears to focus on community building, because, well, what's a blockchain event without a strong sense of community?
On the side, Filecoin, aiming to widen its network in Latin America through its Orbit program, teamed up with Zondax to put together a side event on March 1st at Antares Mendoza. We found out that to make something really secure, we had to make changes on the node. Several alternatives were analyzed and each has advantages and disadvantages.
