Teaming up with Filecoin Foundation, Zondax hosted an event as Orbit Ambassadors. 30+ attendees discussed Filecoin, Polkadot, Ledger, and the Mexican blockchain scene.

Last Thursday, September 12, the vibrant Web3 community in Mexico gathered in Mérida for the annual ETH Mexico event. Organized by the Ethereum community, this get-together is all about local developers diving into the latest blockchain trends, exchanging ideas, and meeting new people in the space.

This year, we teamed up with the Filecoin Foundation to host a special event as part of our role as Orbit Ambassadors for Latin America. Over 30 attendees—ranging from curious newbies to seasoned blockchain experts—came together to chat about everything from Filecoin updates to the latest Polkadot developments. Of course, no event is complete without a nod to Ledger's innovations and the growing Mexican blockchain ecosystem.

The night was full of lively discussions, where old friends reconnected and new faces were introduced. Between slices of pizza, cocktails, and the rhythm of live music, the crowd dove deep into conversations about the future of Web3, all while celebrating the warmth of the local community.
ETH Mexico gave us a perfect excuse to bring together the passionate minds of the blockchain world and share our excitement for what's next. Here's to a warm welcome in Mérida and another successful event with our amazing Filecoin Orbit community in Latin America. Cheers to the future!
